2014
And, another year has come to an end. We’ve all had our sorrows and
moments of joy, all failed and been successful. Now, I wish for you to remember
the highlights of your year, the ones that will be treasured immortally as
memories in your mind. They say to let the past remain in the past, and to let
the future run its own course.
The present is now, and the fact of the now is that we are a mere few
moments away from 2015. Some of us refuse to believe how quickly time has raced
by us, and some of us cannot wait for the time ahead. All of us wish to change
something in us, waiting for ourselves to grow up or for the right time to
come. But, the time is now, and it does not wait forever. This new year, try
your best to become the person you’ve always wished to be, and maybe you’ll
find that it was always there, within you, waiting for a chance to be showcased
to the world. Be proud of who you are, and also be proud of your attempts to
become the person you want to be. The smaller ones are the ones that matter.
Welcome 2015 with your attempts to smile a little more, laugh a little more,
and try a little more.
For me, this year has been simply Brilliant. It couldn’t have been
more perfect even if I’d written it down myself. I started this year with
special expectations, as it reminded me of how my birthday also fell on the 14th.
It was the closest I could get to a 01/01/01 or 12/12/12. This year would only
come once for me, and I intended to make the best of it, leaving all the
weights that dragged me down behind. And I did, which again amazes me by
proving that you get what you wish the most for. This year started with a bang,
making me sail through amazing contests, and raising me on a pedestal of slowly
but surely building self-confidence.
