With drizzle splattering on her face then, she was not only hungry, but also wet to the bones. She walked over to the water fountain, barely managing to keep from blacking out. Ignoring the shivers that went up her spine when her hand broke the surface of the icy water, she scoured it entirely for any signs of coins. She heard vague footsteps behind her. Continuing to peer at the black water beneath her, she saw a face. What she saw made her blanch. She whipped around and came face-to-face with…her. Now that she thought about it, when she recalled Serena, she had seen her own face in the other. But, this was literal. Serena had been her lookalike. Looking back, she remembered her vividly; the same long mane of brunette, stormy amber eyes, and a fae that betrayed no expression.
