Scenic thoughts

This scene just creates a lot of thoughts. I think that when Voldemort looked at Dumbledore, dead in his tomb, he could have felt an aching memory, if not remorse. Dumbledore was the man who rescued the orphan Tom Riddle Jr. from his orphanage, the man who so kindly was responsible for telling him about the most important truth in his life - magic. Voldemort would be nothing if not for Dumbledore. I think that in this scene, Voldemort remembers himself as Tom, the brilliant boy who had been considered a misfit, but not a murderer. The boy whom the dead man before him had brought to Hogwarts, and introduced to the world of magic that he would later fidget to reign over. This scene makes the heartless Voldemort become a human Tom Riddle Jr.
